Misophonia is a condition where a person has an extreme emotional response of anger/disgust to a commonly occurring stimulus such as the sound of chewing or sniffing.  Misophonia symptoms are surprisingly common, affecting up to 15% of adults, and can range from annoying to debilitating.

This webinar is intended for all types of clinicians, such as psychologists, CBT therapists, counselors, occupational therapists, behavior specialists, doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.  This webinar will help you recognize the signs of misophonia in your clients and understand how it severely affects your client’s behavior.

The webinar is presented by Thomas Dozier, director of the Misophonia Institute and Michelle Lopez, clinician and assistant professor at Alliant International University. (See below for more information on Tom and Michelle).
