This poster was presented at the California Association for Behavior Analysis (CalABA) conference on February 28, 2014, by Tom Dozier.

The presentation provided an opportunity to discuss misophonia with academic professionals, including a professor from California State University, Fresno, who expressed interest in potential research collaboration. Although misophonia was considered conceptually compelling, it did not align with the professor’s existing research agenda, and no collaboration resulted. This reflects a broader challenge in misophonia research, as many university faculty members must prioritize established research programs and may have limited capacity to pursue emerging topics.

Despite these challenges, efforts to promote research into misophonia and potential treatments continue with enthusiasm and determination.
